coldplay is one of those bands that loves pretty much every musical artist they hear, or at least chris martin does

I guess some people would find that embarrassing or ridiculous, but I love that he is so open to pretty much every bit of music out there

that’s the way a musician should be, praising the work of others instead of criticizing it

I think chris being the way he is goes to make coldplay’s music all the better, as they are much less afraid than some other bands likely are to expand their horizons and try new things because they welcome everything that’s out there with open arms

it’s one of the best things about the band in my opinion, and one of the main reasons chris is one of my favorite musicians of all time

and people call him pretentious? ridiculous
